Izola meets John Wilkes Booth

Izola grew up and got a job as a dressmaker’s helper. She was disillusioned, alone with little money, and had a baby boy that depended on her. Izola's friends noticed she was always looking sad, and they would try to bring her welcomed news.

One of Izola’s friends received an invitation to a ball. Her friend did not have a date and did not want to go alone. The friend asked Izola to accompany her. Izola wanted to go and had ample time to make a dress. She gladly accepted.
